Must have for writing scripts,

Great buy! I live in LA and was taking acting classes. I decided to try a writing class too and people in the class recommended using Final Draft. Really a great program. I've mentioned it to a few other people since and although it was not something I'd heard about previously, apparently it is the program that is used for all movies and scripted TV shows. Glad I picked it!

I've been a professional screenwriter for a decade and FD 8 is the program that I have been waiting for all these years. The scene navigator is a great touch to a product that I consider to be a must have, industry standard for screenwriters. I recommend highly, I'm not easy to please

Quality and usability are the reasons why Final Draft is the name that industry professionals turn to for putting their creations on paper and their latest release is no different. I'm just out of school and am breaking into the industry... I couldn't be happier with this product! Coming from notepads and word documents, using the software is like night and day. Couldn't ask for more guys!

 

A valuable tool!!,

This arrived so quickly and I have not even begun to input my script with it, yet.
I needed to replace it since my last script got burned up in my last computer when it overheated. I was HOPING I could retrieve that script, but haven't figured it out yet.

The ONLY thing I don't like is the attachment and strictness on the licensing! I think I should be able to put it on all my computers, for my personal use, but I can understand the lock and limitations the creators have instilled in it. Good proprietorship.

No, otherwise this is fantastic. A MUST for serious writers in this business, as well as ANY independant filmmakers.
